Marina Aliverti's latest art exhibition opens tomorrow, February 26, in St. Moritz. It captures the rugged, vertical nature of the mountain landscapes she inhabits

‘Iron Peaks’ is the title of an art exhibition opening on 26 February in St. Moritz, Switzerland. The exhibition explores the themes of values, vision and social activism, and is set to be a true masterpiece. Marina Aliverti is the author. The readers of Rekh Magazine well know her as a brilliant author of both articles and graphics.
Based between Lake Como and the Engadin, Aliverti is a multidisciplinary artist and 'fashion rainmaker' whose work is a nomadic journey back to the origins of matter. Her creative philosophy — that the idea alone dictates the medium — reaches its most powerful expression in her 'Iron Peaks'.
These sculptures are a visceral dialogue between the raw strength of iron and the power of colour. Transcending her textile heritage, the Iron Peaks act as contemporary cairns, capturing the rugged, vertical essence of the Alpine landscapes she inhabits.
Inspired by extreme expeditions ranging from the red dunes of ancient deserts to the melting ice of Greenland, Aliverti combines art with environmental activism. Through her association with ARCTIC. LAST FRONTIER, she employs her diverse portfolio, ranging from land art to pop photography, to document the displacement of infinite horizons and safeguard the world's most vulnerable ecosystems.
